Ben Skinner European champ 09

Ben became European champ earlier today after a thrilling contest held in 4-6ft hollow right handers!

He took down world number 2 Antoine Delpero in the quarters and then his little brother Eduard Delpero in the semi finals!this was enough as they were his only revials, so he went into the final with Alexi Deneil already European champ!

The semi final against Eduard Delpero was the heat of the day where Ben scored a 9 and a 8.25,completly at home in the solid waves he dominated the final aswell and out classed fellow french man Alexi Deneil!

This ends a magicall year for Ben he got a bronze medal for Great Britain in the isa world surfing games,he became BLU champion 09,he won the Euro surf in Jersey, Took the ASP European champ title,finished 5th at the WLT in the Maldives and automatically re qualified for next year in 10th position overall !! became English champion 09!And became the most sucesfull British surfer ever ! and finally won the European tour of longboard this weekend What a year!! well done Skindog form all of us here at the school,we are so proud of you !and you are what makes this school what it is!!
